Malcolm McCulloch (P.G Dip). Offers counselling at The Lade Centre in Rothesay, and graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2007 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Malcolm is an Accredited Member of The National Counselling Society that follows a strict code of ethics for clients’ well-being and their issues. Counselling can provide you with the opportunity to explore feelings and past experiences in a safe and confidential environment with a qualified professional. Malcolm has practised in this field for more than 15 years, both in the corporate world and with private clients.

I am a qualified Person Centered Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I completed my training at the University of Aberdeen and have worked with a variety of different clients with,
for example, stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and trauma. I am comfortable working by telephone and also online over zoom, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgmental
environment. I can draw on aspects from other therapies in order to best meet my clients’ needs.
I am also a qualified Midwife with a special interest and insight into topics such as pregnancy loss, abortion, bereavement and fertility issues.
Above all, I am a friendly, approachable professional and will always take time to listen and provide support
What will a counsellor do?
A counselling session will allow you the time and space and offer particular skills to help you work towards a resolution, either face to face or by telephone. It can help with anxiety, depression, feelings of isolation, relationship issues, bullying, workplace stress or bereavement.
